Asunción, Agencia IP.- Soon, Paraguay will significantly boost its technological industry with the arrival of the TIC Innovation Center FPUNA-Koica, the result of collaboration between the Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) and the National University of Asunción (UNA).
The inauguration of this center, scheduled for this year, will mark a milestone in the country’s technological development. Located at the Polytechnic Faculty of UNA (FPUNA), it will offer various services and activities to promote growth and excellence in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) field.
Among the highlighted services are providing state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology, strengthening ICT skills, supporting research and development projects, promoting collaboration between industry and the academic sector, and organizing seminars and knowledge exchange events.
This project is part of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) activities from 2022 to 2026, reflecting the strategic collaboration between Koica and UNA.
It aims to spread a culture of innovation and enhance the country’s technological capabilities, positioning itself as a reference in boosting Paraguay’s technological industry.
