Peña meets with high-ranking U.S. officials to strengthen bilateral ties

Asunción, Agencia IP.- Paraguayan President Santiago Peña met with Christopher Dodd, Special Advisor for the Americas, Dan Erikson from the National Security Council, and Kevin Sullivan from the State Department, during which they discussed strengthening bilateral relations.

The meeting took place today in the Dominican Republic, where the President traveled to attend the presidential inauguration of Luis Abinader, who was re-elected in the first round on May 19.

«In this meeting, we discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations, cooperation, and the shared values that drive our relationship», claimed the Head of State.
