Paraguay’s Political, economic, financial, and social stability stands out in Spain

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Vice Minister of Communication of the Ministry of Technologies of Information and Communication (Mitic, by its acronym in Spanish), Alejandra Duarte Albospino, stated today. A series of work meetings took place with communication specialists, agencies, and journalists in Madrid, Spain, where the stability that Paraguay offers in Latin America stood out.

Today’s first meeting took place with José María Blasco from the Directorate of Infrastructure and ICT, Architecture of Fairs and Exhibitions, and with Eduardo Álvarez Rodríguez, CEO of the Comunicación Puentia agency, which aims to generate investments in Paraguay in terms of strategic management and the communications sector.

The encounter included a meeting with journalists from important press media, such as the Deputy Director of ABC, the Director of Editorial of 20 minutos, and journalists from Grupo Heraldo, the Deputy Director of The Objective and Actualidad Económica. In addition, journalists from the El Mundo group, the General Director of the Public Group, and the Communications Director of Telefónica España, among others.

Ambassador Liz Coronel, in charge of business at the Paraguayan Embassy in Spain, accompanied the mission.

«Paraguay is a plateau of political, economic, financial, social and emotional stability that rises in the middle of Latin America,» the president of Comunicación Estratégica Puentia agency, Eduardo Álvarez Rodríguez, said at the meeting.

Spain is one of the most essential investments in Paraguay, with over 200 Spanish enterprises in our country, the main category being infrastructure and construction. Therefore, the Vice Minister’s visit will also be essential to present the investment offers and facilities given by the government of President Santiago Peña, Mitic reported.

Spain exports Paraguay products such as glass, ceramic, auto parts, medicines, wine and olive oil. Paraguay, on the other hand, exports USD 140 million in meat and soybeans to Spain.
