Asunción, Agencia IP.- As part of an official visit to Taiwan, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Marco Riquelme, accompanied by representatives from the Paraguayan food sector, visited the facilities of YesHealth, a global leader in the development of vertical farming in controlled environments.

During the tour, the Paraguayan delegation visited the company’s headquarters in Taoyuan, Taiwan, which boasts the most impressive vertical farming infrastructure in Asia, spanning 14 levels.

This strategic visit aims to position Paraguay on the path to Agriculture 4.0 by identifying cooperation and innovation projects and exploring new alternatives that can guarantee food security and the country’s international competitiveness.

They also witnessed the company’s operational methods, which utilize a fully controlled indoor production system and climate, enabling the optimization of natural resources and achieving a high-yield agricultural model with minimal environmental impact.
