Panama approves and opens a new market for Paraguayan beef

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Panamanian Food Agency has approved importing beef products from Paraguay, allowing immediate commercialization of Paraguayan beef in the Panamanian market.

«This is another step that consolidates Paraguay as a global reference in quality, health standards, and production,» highlighted President Santiago Peña.

In a statement issued yesterday, the National Animal Health and Quality Service (SENACSA) announced the authorization of this market for the export of boneless beef from Paraguay.

«This approval is another significant step in expanding Paraguayan livestock products into Central American markets and reflects the commitment of both the public and private sectors to the country’s productive growth,» the statement said.

President Santiago Peña also celebrated this new market access for Paraguayan beef, emphasizing that «behind every export there is work, effort, and a productive chain that never stops.»

«This is no coincidence; it is the result of a serious foreign policy and a strong partnership between the public and private sectors. We continue opening doors, generating jobs, and placing Paraguay’s name where it deserves to be: at the very top,» the President stated.
