Asunción, Agencia IP.- This Tuesday, the formalization and launch of the Paraguay-Türkiye Trade Association took place, with the aim of strengthening economic relations and promoting trade, tourism, cultural, and educational exchange between the two countries.
The new entity is an initiative of the Paraguay-Türkiye Economic and Commercial Association and will be chaired by Francisco Fariña, who emphasized the importance of having an institutional platform that fosters connections between businesspeople, investors, and strategic stakeholders in Paraguay and Türkiye, facilitating the creation of business opportunities.
The event was attended by the Türkiye Ambassador to Paraguay, Yavuz Kül, and the former Paraguayan Ambassador to Türkiye, Ceferino Valdez Peralta, who highlighted the potential for cooperation between the two markets and the importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral ties.
During the ceremony, the founding members signed the articles of incorporation, formally launching the Paraguay-Türkiye Trade Association. The new organization will seek to coordinate efforts between the public and private sectors and to promote trade missions, knowledge exchange, and investment.
The association stated that following its official launch, it will coordinate efforts to strengthen strategic sectors such as bilateral trade, tourism, culture, and education, with the goal of creating new development opportunities for both countries.
This association is a step toward institutionalizing the economic relationship between Paraguay and Türkiye, reaffirming their shared interest in advancing integration and shared growth.
