British government formalizes new Ambassador to Paraguay

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The British government has officially announced the next British ambassador to Paraguay. She is Danielle Dunne, who will replace Ramin Navai. According to the British Embassy in Paraguay, Danielle Dunne will arrive in January 2025 and is preparing for her arrival by studying Spanish and relevant topics related to Paraguay.

«Absolutely delighted to be appointed the next Ambassador to Paraguay! I’m looking forward to building on Ramin Navai’s achievements and working with the amazing UK in Paraguay team!» expressed Danielle Dunne.

In this context, she mentioned that her family is eager to begin a new adventure in this incredible country in January 2025.

At the same time, the current Ambassador, Ramin Navai, will be transferred to another diplomatic destination. He welcomed his successor through his official account on X.

It is worth mentioning that the appointed ambassador currently serves as the director of the West Africa and Sahel Counter-Terrorism Network. She has also worked at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the Department for International Development (DFID).
