US Special Forces to train Paraguayan Military

Asunción, Agencia IP.- As part of the Crisis and Contingency Response Program, a US Air Force C-17 aircraft arrived in Paraguay on Saturday carrying weapons and ammunition to be used to train Paraguay’s Joint Special Forces Battalion.

This new training will be a continuation of the 2025 six-month program. The training, from special forces to special forces, lasts five years. Approximately 40 members of the Joint Special Forces Battalion will participate in the training, which begins on January 19 and runs until July 9, Colonel José Flor, the battalion’s commander, told 970 AM radio.
