The primary objective of the agreement is to promote joint initiatives that integrate the Israeli private sector’s knowledge, technology, and expertise with national efforts to improve education in Paraguay.
The Memorandum was signed by the Minister of Education, Luis Fernando Ramírez, and the Ambassador of Israel to Paraguay, Amit Mekel. On this occasion, the Minister thanked the Ambassador for his presence and emphasized that «this cooperation paves the way for us to benefit from the learning, evolution, and development that Israel has achieved in education.»
Through this cooperation, joint projects in areas such as pedagogy, educational psychology, educational sciences, and teaching technologies are envisioned. Collaboration with Israeli companies, experts, and innovation centers, in coordination with Paraguayan institutions, is also planned.
The initiative also seeks to strengthen capacities within the MEC (Ministry of Education and Sciences), universities, and research centers, promoting knowledge exchange and participation in seminars, exhibitions, and other academic activities in both countries. The agreement will have an initial duration of five years, with the possibility of renewal.
