Details about Paraguay’s interventions for the Climate Summit are being adjusted

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, and the Minister of Environment, Rolando De Barros, maintained a reunion to adjust details about Paraguay’s intervention at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 28).

The meeting took place yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Both authorities analyzed the necessary adjustments to the Paraguayan position at the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

The government’s objective is to show the best environmental practices promoted by Paraguay. In that context, it aims to be a protagonist for these actions developed over the last few years.

The Climate Summit will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from November 30 to December 12. It will bring together 190 leaders from around the world. Preview sessions will take place from November 24 to 29.

The delegation will be led by the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, along with several ministers of the Executive Branch.
